HOW WE WORK
 
To accomplish our vision and mission, the Church Development Ministry works with Christian leaders from other churches and organizations across the United States and around the world to:

• Strengthen leaders in their personal relationship with God
• Help leaders become disciple-makers
• Develop leaders and leadership teams that reflect Christ
• Transform existing churches into healthy, aligned, disciple-making organizations
• Cultivate disciple-making church plants
• Assist mission and other Christian organizations in developing discipleship processes
• Provide coaching and other resources

WHAT WE OFFER

We do this by offering the following training and resources: (Please click on the area of interest for more information)

Immersion One
A two-day training focusing on four key areas:  Intentional Leadership, Alignment-theological, philosophical, relational and organizational, Relational Environments (small groups), and an Intentional Discipleship Process.  The Immersion One is a prerequisite for most of our other trainings and resources.

Immersion Two
A three-day training designed to develop leaders and leadership teams that reflect Christ. This training will strengthen your core leadership team-individually and corporately-building unity, increasing alignment, and creating a healthy model for others to follow. Your team will also begin to develop and implement many of the things you learned in the Immersion One experience. 

Church Planter Boot Camp
This eight-day training incorporates both the Immersion One and Immersion Two plus adds specific information and training developed just for church planters.  The Boot Camp will get your entire team moving in the same direction and help you effectively and efficiently build a disciple-making church that will radically change your community for Christ. 

Small Group Leader Training
For those who already have small groups going, but would like to offer their leaders additional training, we’ve developed a small group leader training just for you.  This is a day and a half training (Friday evening and all day Saturday) that we can bring to you, making it easy for your volunteer leaders to participate.  The training focuses on several key areas: Biblical foundation for small group discipleship, small group ingredients, effective listening, ministering to others, shepherding, intentional relationship and discipleship. 

Residency
Would it be helpful for you to experience what we do first hand? Our Residency Program – geared primarily for Senior Pastors, allows you to do just that. Come spend a few days or several weeks with us. We can develop a program just for you – observe and participate in our various ministries, events, home groups, staff meetings, coaching sessions, etc.

Coaching
This is a critical component of the development and implementation process for building a disciple-making church.   Let us develop a coaching plan specifically for your needs.  Our coaching focuses on four key areas:  Intentional leadership, alignment, relational environments, and personal wellbeing. 

Resources
We’ve developed a number of different resources to help with leader development, organizational structure, church alignment, small groups ministry development and curriculum, discipleship method and model, membership class and other trainings, ministry filters, outreach events, ministry development, and others. 

Note: Immersion One is a prerequisite for most of our resources.
