“When Jesus returned to Capernaum several days later, the news spread quickly that he was back home. Soon the house where he was staying was so packed with visitors that there was no more room, even outside the door. While he was preaching God’s word to them, four men arrived carrying a paralyzed man on a mat. They couldn’t bring him to Jesus because of the crowd, so they dug a hole through the roof above his head. Then they lowered the man on his mat, right down in front of Jesus. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, “My child, your sins are forgiven.”
– Mark 2:1-5
As a church, we exist to reach the world for Jesus, one person at a time. We feel that is best done in small, relational environments, where biblical disciples can be made.
God didn’t design you to live life alone. He intended you to be in relationship with Him and in relationship with others. The above lines of scripture provide one example of how we desire to do life together in connection and in community. Sometimes you’re the man on the mat, sometimes you’re the one ripping tiles off the roof…and sometimes you’re watching in the crowd.
Wouldn’t it be amazing to BE a part of that? To have the experience of being carried to Jesus? To have the honor of laboring with friends, siblings in Christ, to bring one and another’s burdens to the feet of God?
Don’t miss out! Jesus promises an abundant life. Don’t sit and watch in the crowd, get in on the movement and join Jesus in His work. We have a discipleship group to fit anyone, anywhere in their journey. Get connected today, we’d love to help.
