2008 Discipleship Conference
The Essential Elements of Relational Discipleship
Discipleship is seen by the church as being everyone’s business, without intentionality, it has become nobody’s business. Most churches have no true understanding of discipleship nor experience in doing it. There needs to be a distinction between education in the classroom and authenticity, accountability and maturity within the small groups, where true discipleship can happen. Churches need to stop being about buildings and budgets, but rather about being the presence of Christ within their communities. The Essential Elements of Relational Discipleship is intended to help you focus on discipleship and building relational environments within your church and your community.

This year’s conference will be held from July 20th to July 22nd. The format of the conference will be small groups. The registration is limited to the first 240 participants. Each presentation, except the Sunday evening Keynote address, will be approximately 30 minutes long followed by a small group discussion of a dozen participants. These small groups will be facilitated by our staff and last roughly 60 minutes. The schedule of topics is listed below, but each session will revolve around relational discipleship. The final session of the conference will be presented as panel discussions by staff on the previously presented materials.
