Guest Ministries Leader
My Family: Husband – Ron.
My Story: I was born and raised in Eastern Pennsylvania. My husband Ron and I married and we moved to Illinois. That’s where the Lord got a hold of me. I became a Christian the year we got married. To this day my husband says “You’re not the girl I married”. I always say, ”No , I hope I’m better”. Our journey together has taken us to Illinois, Indiana, Arizona and now Washington. We’ve been here the longest and I love every minute of it.
When my husband and I met, I was his father’s corporate travel agent. I spent 13 years in the travel industry. When we moved to Arizona I was able to volunteer as a receptionist at my church. Because I was faithful and available they hired me part time. Then we moved to Washington and I worked part time as a greeter at STCU. That was actually the perfect job for me. When I was invited to join the staff at Real Life is was a hard decision because I loved what I was doing at STCU. But God had a plan and I jumped in with both feet and I haven’t looked back since.
Favorite Verse: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jerimiah 29:11.
Food: I’m not very picky when it comes to food. I do miss some of the food from the Pennsylvania Dutch area like lebanon bologna and scrapple. You probably don’t want to know what’s in either of those. Every few years my in-laws send those treats as a Christmas present! My husband, Ron and I do love our Sushi.
Quote: “If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.” Marc Anthony.
Hobby: I love crafting in general! I lead the Quilting Ministry at RLM as a volunteer. I enjoy scrap-booking, rubber stamping, crocheting, zentangling, and creating Art Journals.
Exercise: I really like being outdoors whether I’m walking, hiking, riding my bike on the trails, or sitting by the lake or on the beach. I guess the latter doesn’t count as exercise unless I’m people watching.
Smell: There is nothing better than the smell of fresh cut grass!
