Life Group Pastor

Life Group Pastor – Post Falls Campus

My Family:  I am married to Michelle and have two daughters, Danielle and Brittany.  I also have two grandchildren, Hadley and Reagan.

My Story:  My wife and I moved to Post Falls in 2002 for my work as an electrician.  She got on at Kootenai Medical Center as a nurse.  We looked for a local church and found a rough group of people meeting at a high school.  These seemed to be real people with a real heart to follow Jesus and carry out his mission.  We got into a home group and met people much like ourselves who wanted to learn and grow as disciples of Jesus.

After a couple of home group “branches,” we we found ourselves leading our own home group.  Soon, we were coaching several other home group leaders and awhile later, I was asked to come on staff as a Community Pastor.  I declined.  But a year later, at the end of 2006, I was asked again, and we felt God calling us to this new career in ministry.

Before RLM: I worked through high school at a frozen yogurt shop, attended college for a year, then worked as a carpenter for six years and an electrician for seven years.

Favorite Bible Verse: “For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received a spirit of sonship.  And by Him we cry, ‘Abba, Father.'” – Romans 8:15
