We’re thrilled you’re considering being a part of the Creative Arts ministry at Real Life! Discerning where God is calling you to serve as a member of His Church is an exciting and important time.

Creative Arts staff and volunteers are responsible for all music, photo, video, lighting, and other creative elements for weekend services and other events connected to our church body. As a ministry, our vision is to create roadways, not roadblocks, as it pertains to people experiencing God. We strive for excellence, but not for excellence’s sake. We work to develop our individual crafts so that we might be conduits for Christ.

We take this charge from various places in scripture (Matthew 7:13-14, 21:12-17, 23:13, Isaiah 40, John 1), but most clearly from the example of John the Baptist. When questioned who he was and what he was trying to accomplish, John quickly diverted any acclaim to his own name and answered with the words of Isaiah saying “I am the voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way for the Lord.”

As a ministry, we want to do our part to make plain the path to a relationship with God through engaging, distraction-free worship environments that will point people to the Savior. If this is something you are passionate about, click one of the links below to learn more.
