Join us for a 5-week journey through the book of Jonah to uncover the context and the purpose behind the book. This four-chapter book about a bad prophet forces us to ask questions of ourselves that cause us to see the world differently. When we apply the truths in the book of Jonah, we find out that he is a great deal like you and me. This class is open to upper high school age and young adults (15-29).

Untying the Knots of the Heart is a journey with others that God uses to help participants face their struggles, identify the root causes of their pain, and find new freedom & joy in Jesus Christ. This Biblical,12-lesson process gives participants tools and perspectives to help heal and thrive again. (No class the week of Thanksgiving)

QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis, how to offer hope, and how to get help, helping save lives.

TBRI®
FOR PARENTS & CAREGIVERS

TBRI® is designed to meet the complex needs of children who have experienced adversity and/or trauma. Due to their histories, it is often difficult for these children to trust loving adults in their lives, which often results in perplexing behaviors. TBRI® offers practical tools for parents, caregivers, teachers, or anyone who works with children, to see the “whole child” in their care and help that child reach his highest potential.

TBRI® is based on research in attachment, sensory processing, and neuroscience with the heartbeat of connection. While TBRI® is based on the context of relationships with children, people interested in building trust-based relationships in a trauma-exposed society may find the concepts helpful in other relationships. There is a $10 fee for the workbook which will be provided.

SEXUAL INTEGRITY 101:
FOR ADULTS

We all desire sexual integrity whether it's for ourselves or for others. The sexual integrity 8 week video course is for anyone who wants to find freedom from the effects of unwanted sexual behaviors and betrayal and knowledge of how to help others. This course will show how shame and grace affect the healing process, give understanding about addiction and betrayal trauma, and get you started on the path to sexual health.

PREPARING FOR MARRIAGE
BEFORE IT STARTS

“I knew we weren’t supposed to be married, but too much money had already been spent on the ceremony and reception. Invitations had gone out. It would’ve been too embarrassing and hard to break the engagement.” This story is a great example of why pre-engagement/marital counseling is of great value. Research shows that pre-marital/engagement counseling decreases the chance of divorce by 30%. Whether you are engaged or just getting serious in your relationship come and prepare.

All participants will take the SYMBIS assessment which will be emailed one week prior to the first day of class. Cost for assessment is $35 per couple.

Former pastor, elder, and San Francisco beat cop Dan Lynch has a wealth of knowledge, wisdom, insight, and experience with the word of God. This ongoing class gives you the opportunity to learn about the Bible from one of the best! No need to register ahead of time, just show up with a Bible. Some men arrive early for fellowship - highly recommended. It’s only half an hour long.
